The Fifth Agreement Card Deck

The story of you is all you know about yourself. And when I say that, I talk to you, know what you believe, not to you, to man, what you really are. As you can see, I make the distinction between you and you, because one of you is real and one of you is not real. You, the physical man, are real; You`re the truth. You, knowledge, you are not real; They`re virtual. You exist only because of the agreements you have with yourself and with the others around you. You, know, you come from the words you hear in your head, from all the opinions of the people you love, people you don`t like, people you know and, above all, people you never know. In the four agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz revealed how the process of our education, or “domestication,” could make us forget the wisdom with which we were born. Throughout our lives, we have made many agreements that go against ourselves and cause unnecessary suffering. The four agreements help us break these self-limitation agreements and replace them with agreements that bring us personal freedom, happiness and love.

Based on the New York Times bestseller, The Fifth Agreement, the 48 cards on this deck offer a new perspective on the four chords and a powerful new chord to transform our lives into our own paradise. The voice of knowledge – in this 48-card deck, Don Miguel Ruiz reminds us of a profound and simple truth: the only way to end our emotional suffering and restore our joie de vivre is to stop believing lies – especially about ourselves. It shows us how to get back to our common sense. It then opens the door to a reality that we once perceived as a period of one and two years – a reality of truth, love and joy. The Fifth Accord Maps are a 48-card bridge that offers a new perspective on the four chords and a powerful new agreement to transform our lives into our personal skies. The Fifth Accord takes us to a deeper level of awareness of the power of the self and brings us back to the authenticity with which we were born. This bridge had works of art that I appreciated much more and I felt that the messages matched better. The messages are simple, the advice at the back is thoughtful, and this has allowed me to delve deeper into my personal healing journey. It was not a guide or booklet that was in the bridges, as they are supposed to be confirmation cards that must be drawn and inspired by the words on both sides of each card. I bought these bridges at Hay House during one of their sales and bought them on a whim. I didn`t find much about it online and I didn`t know that the Deck had been released in 2005.

There wasn`t much of a description on his website, but the artwork caught my attention. The images showed almost a renaissance feeling, dark, realistic, like beautiful oil paintings of the past days.
